For the 6th Format Raisins festival edition, Alban Richard will show us his new show Vivace, interpreted by the dancers Anthony Barreri and Yannick Hugron.

In parallel of his musical and litterary studies, Alban Richard met with contemporary dance. He performed, among others, for Odile Duboc, Christine Gaigg, Olga de Soto and Rosalind Crisp.

He founded the ensemble the Abrupt in 2000 and created about 30 pieces mixing partitions for dance, music, lights and costumes.

Ever since he founded Abrupt, in 2000,the musical ensemble has been a resident in the Théâtre de Vanves, the Centre National de la Danse de Pantin, the Forum du Blanc-Mesnil, the Théâtre Louis Aragon de Tremblay-en-France, the Scène Nationale d’Orléans, the Prisme centre de développement artistique de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the Théâtre National de Chaillot, the Théâtre Paul Eluard in Bezons and at the Théâtre 71, national Malakoff scene..

∇ Ses collaborations

Linked to the musical world, he collaborated with the musical ensemble Alla francesa, les Talens Lyriques, the Percussions de Strasbourg, the musical ensembles Instant Donné, Alternance, l’IRCAM, and the composers Laurent Perrier, Raphaël Cendo, Jérôme Combier, Robin Leduc…

The past few years, Alban Richard’s installations-performances have been placed at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville in Paris, the Musée du Louvre, the Musée du Quai Branly, the Musée Guimet, the Abu Dhabi Art Fair…

In Sepetembre 2015, Alban Richard took the head of the national choregraphic center of Caen, in Normandie.
