Belinda Kunz will attend the Format Raisins festival's 6th edition son July 7th, at la Maison des Sancerre !

Franco-german mezzo-soprano franco-allemande, Belinda Kunz was born in a family of musicians. She studied literature at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon and at the Sorbonne with Maurice Brach, Evelyn Brunner, Ivan Geissler, and joins in 2008 the Company Opéra Autrement, which she often produces shows and concerts with. She ends her theatrical studies in 2013-2014 at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq.

Her concert repertoire goes from Monteverdi, Pergolèse, Bach, Vivaldi, to a more contemporary style. On stage, she sings Monteverdi (Messagiera, Speranza, Proserpine, Ottavia), Gluck (Orpheus), Mozart (Annius, Cherub, 2e Dame, Dorabella), Bizet (Mercedes), Rossini (Rosina, Isabella), Wagner (Blumenmädchen), J. Strauss (Prinz Orlowsky), Offenbach (La Belle Hélène), Ravel (L’Enfant).

Belinda Kunz often performs recitals in France and Germany, in french (Delibes, Bizet, Duparc, Ravel), espagnol (Obradors, Granados, Turina, De Falla), english (Jake Heggie, Gerschwin, Porter, Kern), and german (Mozart, Schubert, Mahler, Strauss, Weill, Holländer). Jean-Dominique Burroni, Monique Bouvet and Florian Kunz accompany her with a piano, and sometimes, clarinet and trumpet players, storytellers and poets also accompany her, like in « Voix en Miroir », a show mixing two singing voices and poetry, poésie she created in 2013 with Irina Breitenstein.
