Cédric Tiberghien’s career is international. He has been particularly reputed for the strong personality he expresses through his interpretations, the diversity and the smart construction of his programs, his constant desire to explore new concerts formats, and his brilliant collaborations in chamber music.
He plays in the biggest concert halls such as Wigmore Hall in London, the Philharmonie of Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York, Musikverein in Vienna, The Opera of Sydney, Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo. He also plays in numerous orchestras, of international renown like the Orchestras in Cleveland, Boston and Seattle, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Paris Orchestra, the Hamburger Philharmoniker. He will be at the Philarmonie of Paris in October 2018 to close his tour of Beethoven concertos with the conductor Enrique Mazzola.
He records many discs for Harmonia Mundi and Hyperion Records, earning the best rewards (Diapason d’or, Choc from Classica, ffff from Télérama, Editor’s Choice from Grammophon, and theGrand Prix de la Critique Allemande 2017 for his integral recording of Mozart’s Sonates with the violin player Alina Ibragimova).
