∇ Format Philo : a philosophical debate
.
Format Raisins inaugurates this year Format Philo, a philosophical debate created by Nassime Barkat and Casimir Lejeune, who will welcome great philosophers such as Sidi Mohammed Barkat et Jean-Philippe Pierron. They will be joined by Paul de Rémusat, saxophonist and jazz musician.

Nassime Barkat
Nassime Barkart graduated from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, in contemporary philosophy, and studied the matters related to subjectivity in phenomenology and psychoanalysis under the supervision of Jocelyn Benoit and Guy-Félix Duportail.
Co-founder of the association “La Nouvelle Académie” in 2013, he organised, until 2016, conferences and debates, and took care of the publication of annual journals. He now takes part in the creation and management of philosophical events.

Casimir Lejeune
Casimir Lejeune graduated in contemporary philosophy and cinema from the Université of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He now teaches philosophy at the Auguste Renoir highschool in Cagnes-sur-mer.
After being president of the philosophy association at La Nouvelle Académie for two years, which he created a student journal with, organised weekly meetings, conferences and debates related to philosophy.
He now develops and manages philosophical events he created.

Sidi Mohammed Barkat

Sidi Mohammed Barkat is a philosopher. He has been working on matters related to work and transformations / mutations for over a decade. Among his most famous published books, we can mention: Le travail en trompe-l’œil, Paris, éditions Rojos, 2016.

Jean-Philippe Pierron
.
Jean-Philippe Pierron is a philosopher. He teaches at the Faculty of philosophy at the Jean Moulin University in Lyon, France. He manages the Master degree “ethics, ecology and sustainable development”.
He works mainly on imagination and action. He explores the field of medicine, family, work and ecology. He also published Penser le développement durable, Ellipses, 2007; Vulnérabilité, Pour une philosophie du soin, PUF, 2010; Où va la famille ? LLL, 2014, Les créatures de la soif, essai d’écologie poétique, F Bourin, 2018.

Paul de Pierron

Paul de Rémusat first learned how to play the saxophone as an autodidact, influenced by jazz from 60’s and the bebop tradition.
Then, he learned in the classes of Rick Margitza and Peter Giron for 4 years at the American School of Modern Music before going to the Conservatoire Régional de Paris under Jean Charles Richard’s supervision, in Luigi Grasso’s class.
He often appears on Parisian stages with Jazz, funk and soul groups, and collaborates a lot with afro-jazz musicians.
