PAUL DE RÉMUSAT
Paul de Rémusat first learned how to play the saxophone as an autodidact, influenced by jazz from 60’s and the bebop tradition.
Then, he learned in the classes of Rick Margitza and Peter Giron for 4 years at the American School of Modern Music before going to the Conservatoire Régional de Paris under Jean Charles Richard’s supervision, in Luigi Grasso’s class.
He often appears on Parisian stages with Jazz, funk and soul groups, and collaborates a lot with afro-jazz musicians.
Paul de Rémusat and Sidi Mohammed Barkat will attend the Format Raisins festival the 12th of July at the Prieuré in La Charité-sur-Loire, to inaugurate the first philosophical event of the festival !
