THE TIRE-LAINE COMPANY
The Compagnie du Tire-Laine is a community of french artists (from Lille). Created in 1992, for Arnaud Van Lancker and Armel Richard, the company’s repertoire takes form around the french and gypsy musics.
The company made herself know thanks to numerous creations inspired from musics and stories from all around the world, especially balls they are famous for. In 2015 Arnaud Van Lancker delegated the artistic direction to Benoît Sauvage, who arrived in the Company in 2001.
On this day, the artistic project Tire-Laine keeps deploying through cultures from all around the world.
